I love this green kitchen. We took the pink Barbie kitchen and spray painted by following the video of Poppy Seed Mini. This time I did put food inside of the cupboards. The pizza was from those mini balls.
Here's a closer look at the cupboards. I used scrapbook paper on the walls.
This was a fun dorm room vibe. I attached a bookshelf to the bed and put some books and a fish tank, a mini doll, and a LOVE sign from the dollar store on the shelves. I got that plushie somewhere, and thought it would be cute on the bed.
That blue and purple art work was made by my 5-year-old granddaughter, Emily. The black and white rug, in this case, is actually part of a blanket that I cut up.
The bookshelf was also attached to a desk with fake drawers on the side. I found this cork board at the dollar store and turned it into a cork board with teeny tiny pictures stuck in it. I used real push pins but cut them short.
The computer is a print out. And. yes, I made teeny tiny pencils out of toothpicks with the ends painted. So fun. The black chair is from the dollar store.
This is a beauty supply organizer but I thought it made a rad closet space. I made little drawers out of empty matchbook boxes with beads glued on the end. I cut a dowel rod and glued it across the top for a hanger.
I repurposed the ball that all the mini brands things come in by glueing that disco ball type stuff all around it. And I put a little light below it. It looked really cool in the dark. That pretty box the light is on, you have seen in other houses like the Sophia nursery. It is a light I got from the dollar store.
This is when she was just moving in. Everything is still pretty barren. But you can see that pretty light on.
