My granddaughter Airam LOVES Hello Kitty and Grandpa and I made this closet in her honor. We called it "The Aliyah" because Aliyah is her middle name. All shelving, desk, bench, etc was made from white foam board. I used the tri-fold poster board for the walls and floor. It's all a matter of a lot of cutting and gluing.

This is what it looked like before it was filled. I added wall paper to the different sections of the back of the closet. See the pins in my Dream Dollhouse board on pinterest.

So at this point we have a floor and walls, the closet is glued to the back wall. And I was getting ready to make a bunch of teeny tiny make-up from My Froggy Stuff printables. She has a video on how to make the makeup also. You can watch that tutorial here. I was lucky enough to find Hello Kitty material at my local JoAnn's shop. I printed out all of the hello kitty wall paper from a Pinterest post. I loved the mannequin waiting in the corner. The mirror on the dressing table is just foam board with shiny cardstock. I wish I had done something better.

And here we are putting some fun make up on the dressing table. Those two white boxes to the right were empty matchboxes that I turned into drawers. I put some of the doll's jewelry in there. I also had a bunch of shelves lined up on the wall there for displaying more of the make up. The purple basket under the desk was meant to be a laundry basket, and it really is a pencil cup from the dollar store.

I started filling in the corner with a mirror (again, shiny cardstock on foam board) but I wish I had used a real mirror. The reason I did not, is because this house was for sale and I was not sure of the age of the new owner and did not want any breakable mirror causing harm. I got those fun shopping bags from My Froggy Stuff and I made the beaded necklaces to wrap on the mannequin.

Here we are finally starting to stock the closet. The person who bought this got to keep EVERYTHING. The clothes, the doll, the accessories, the whole room.
There were even real items of clothing inside of the gift bags, which I bet was a sweet surprise!

This is the right side of the room. I made a hanging board out of the mini pallets from the Dollar Tree. I covered half of a Mini Brands ball with disco ball type stick on mosaic tiles from Amazon. I also made that shiny purse! (I will address that in a separate blog post.) I made a little bench with Hello kitty fabric cushion and pillow. And just hung up some pictures I printed.
